Keith & Montse
Our beach Wedding in Hawaii on Oahu
Keith & Montse came to Hawaii with their kids to have a destination wedding ceremony on the beach of Oahu. Hawaiian islands being their favorite place in the world to say their vows . They wanted a more secluded location then the busy beaches of Waikiki so they choose Waialae Beach on the slopes of Diamond-head Waikiki . They stayed at the
Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki , a wonderful Resort one of the first hotels built in Waikiki , also known as the "Pink Palace of the Pacific"—is an iconic beachfront luxury hotel in the heart of Waikiki, Honolulu, on Oʻahu. Opened on February 1, 1927, Designed in a striking Spanish-Moorish style with its signature pink stucco façade, it quickly became a symbol of glamour, hosting celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, and presidents such as Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Location & Vibe
-
Prime Spot: Directly on Waikiki Beach, steps from Kalākaua Avenue shopping (Royal Hawaiian Center, International Market Place) and dining. Views of Diamond Head and the Pacific are unbeatable.
• • Atmosphere: Timeless elegance mixed with Hawaiian culture—lush tropical gardens, historic tours, and a sense of stepping back into old-Hollywood Hawaii. It's romantic, tranquil, and feels like a private oasis despite being in bustling Waikiki.

Waialae beach near Kahala Resort
Keith & Montse choose a more secluded beach area but still close enough to their Waikiki hotel about a 8 minuet drive. Waiʻalae Beach Park—often called "Kahala Beach" by many of the locals on the slopes of diamond head right around the bend from Waikiki and the royal Hawaiian hotel where the couple stayed —its bit more secluded the Waikiki beach and a that perfect part of the south-shore Oʻahu where luxury meets laid-back Hawaii. Tucked right next to the iconic Kahala Hotel & Resort, it's just a 15-minute drive east of Waikiki, but feels worlds away from the crowds.
-
Vibe: Palm-fringed grassy lawn, soft white sand, turquoise water, and a cute stone bridge over Waiʻalae Stream that screams "photo op." Diamond Head views in the distance, zero high-rises blocking the horizon.
-
Beautiful morning sunrises and mostly secluded beaches along the coast on the shores of Diamond-head .
